Anthony Albertorio

Head of Developer Relations at Matter Labs

Anthony Albertorio has a long and varied work experience. In 2015, they began as a Developer & Research Assistant at Columbia University's Mailman School of Public Health. Anthony then moved to Columbia University Medical Center's Department of Pediatrics, Division Molecular Genetics, where they held the same position. In 2016, they worked as a Front End Developer at Optimatic Media, Inc. and as a Developer & Research Assistant at Columbia University Medical Center. In 2017, they founded and organized EthBuilders Meetup. In 2018, they became a Technical Community Curator and Developer at ConsenSys. In 2020, they joined ConsenSys again as the Head of Developer Relations, the MetaMask User Community Lead, and the Community Builder. Anthony also worked as a Developer Evangelist at ShapeShift and a Project Organizer & Co-founder at CoronaTracker. In 2022, they will become the Head of Developer Relations at Matter Labs.

Anthony Albertorio obtained a Bachelor's degree in International Criminal Justice with a Minor in Economics from John Jay College (CUNY) between 2004 and 2009. Anthony then completed a Full Stack Web Development course from freeCodeCamp in 2015 and 2016, followed by a Full Stack JavaScript course from Treehouse in 2016. Albertorio has also obtained a number of certifications, including an Ethereum and Solidity: The Complete Developer's Guide certification from Udemy in August 2019, a Learn Express Course certification from Codecademy in July 2019, a Learn JavaScript Unit Testing Course certification from Codecademy in July 2019, a Learn Node.js Course certification from Codecademy in June 2019, a How to Debug JavaScript Errors Course certification from Codecademy in May 2019, a Learn Asynchronous JavaScript Course certification from Codecademy in May 2019, a Learn React.js: Part II Course certification from Codecademy in May 2019, a Learn React Course certification from Codecademy in April 2019, a Learn Git & GitHub Course certification from Codecademy in July 2018, and an Intro to Python for Data Science Course certification from DataCamp in June 2017.
