Marco Cora has been working in the financial industry since 2002. Marco began their career as a Teaching Assistant at Bocconi University in 2002. In 2006 they moved to UBS Investment Bank as an Analyst. In 2007 they became a Quantitative Analyst at Depfa Bank, and in 2008 they were a Quant Associate at DekaBank. From 2009 to 2011 they were a Partner/Owner at RM Partners. Since 2011 they have been working at Azimut Group, where they have held several roles, including Board Member of Azimut Investment Management Singapore, Board Member of AZ Private Wealth Services Pty Ltd Australia, Board Member of AZ Next Generation Advisory Australia, Board Member of Lifestyle Financial Planning Services Australia, Country Head and CEO Singapore of Azimut Investment Management Singapore, Portfolio Manager of Tail Hedging and Portfolio Optimisation, Board Member of Empowered Financial Partners Australia, and Board Member of AZ Investment Management HK. In 2021 Marco Cora joined Matter Labs as Head Of Business Development.

Marco Cora has a rich educational history. Marco obtained a BSc in Economics of New Technology and International Markets from Università Bocconi from 2001 to 2004. Marco then completed an Exchange Program at the Singapore Management University in 2004, followed by an MSc in Economics and Social Sciences from Università Bocconi from 2004 to 2006. Marco also attended the Collegio di Milano - Fondazione Collegio delle Università Milanesi from 2004 to 2006. In 2012, Marco Cora obtained their CFA from the CFA Institute and will receive the CFA Institute PL Program 10-Year Milestone Badge from the same institution in 2022.
