Hozefa J. has a diverse range of work experience in the field of engineering and management. They began their career as a Software Engineer at Infosys Technologies in 2007 before moving on to work as a Web Developer at the Illinois Institute of Technology in 2009.

In 2010, Hozefa joined Siemens Industry US as a Software Engineer, where they focused on testing MRI machine software and implemented new test workflows to increase code coverage.

In 2011, Hozefa worked as a Software Engineer at E*TRADE Financial before transitioning to a role at PayPal. At PayPal, they held multiple positions, including Senior Software Engineer, Staff Software Engineer, and Engineering Manager. In these roles, they led various initiatives such as creating a react component library, improving performance and reducing latency of the marketing website, and scoping technical requirements. They also worked on the redesign of the marketing website using technologies like HTML/CSS/JS, jQuery, LESS, Node, and Dust.

From 2020 to 2021, Hozefa worked as a Senior Engineering Manager at Wealthfront, where they managed the engineering team for the Path product, which calculated users' net worth over time. They also led the fraud and risk team, implementing tools and controls to prevent and reduce fraud.

Most recently, Hozefa joined Meta in 2021 as an Engineering Manager before moving on to Maven Clinic in 2023 as a Senior Engineering Manager.

Hozefa J. pursued their education chronologically, beginning with a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Electronics Engineering at the University of Mumbai. Hozefa attended from 2003 to 2007. Later on, they furthered their education by completing their Masters in Computer Science at the Illinois Institute of Technology from 2009 to 2010.
