Jonny Furmston

Jonny Furmston is a skilled engineer with extensive experience in marine and offshore engineering. Currently serving as a Field Engineer at McDermott International, Ltd since August 2024, Jonny previously worked as an Offshore Project Engineer at Linch-pin Offshore Management Services, where involvement in the TVI decommissioning project led to the successful decommissioning of nine oil and gas assets in Western Australia. Other roles include Project Engineer at SeaTec and Marine Project Engineer at Balaena Offshore Utilities, where Jonny started as a Graduate Engineer. Jonny's educational background includes a Master of Science in Marine & Offshore Engineering and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering, both obtained from Liverpool John Moores University, as well as studies at Macclesfield College and Chapel En Le Frith High School.
