Barbara Sorrentino

Barbara Sorrentino has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Barbara is currently working as a Patient and Site Adoption Lead at Medable, Inc since March 2022. Prior to this, Barbara worked at ICON plc as a CRA I from July 2021 to March 2022 and as an IH-CRA from March 2021 to July 2021.

In 2019, Barbara worked as a Clinical Research Coordinator at the Division of Hematology, University of Turin, where they supported clinical trial research on Multiple Myeloma disease and performed data management activities. Barbara also designed and maintained databases and resolved queries related to oncohematology clinical trials.

Before that, Barbara worked as a Biology Laboratory (Production) Operator at DiaSorin in 2018, where they gained experience in laboratory operations. In 2017, they were a Graduate Research Assistant at the Dipartimento di Scienze della Salute, where they worked on biology and molecular biology projects and managed laboratory resources. Barbara also interned as a Research Assistant at the same department in 2016.

Barbara's work experience also includes internships as a Research Assistant at U.P.O. "Amedeo Avogadro", Dipartimento di Scienze della Salute from 2013 to 2015, and as a Travel Agency Intern at Napapiiri Viaggi in 2008.

Barbara Sorrentino holds a Master's degree in Medical Biotechnology from the Università degli Studi del Piemonte Orientale, which they obtained between 2015 and 2017. Prior to that, they completed a Bachelor's degree in Biotechnology at the same university from 2010 to 2015. Barbara also possesses a Diploma in Business Managing and Foreign Correspondence from I.I.S. "Biagio Pascal" earned from 2005 to 2010. In 2020, Barbara completed a 40-hour Clinical Research Advanced Training Course called "Missione CRA" at Yghea. Additionally, they obtained a certification in Clinical Research as per Ministerial Decree 15.11.2011 from Yghea in December 2020.
