Lori L. McMahon

Lori L. McMahon has extensive work experience in the field of higher education and research. Lori L. is currently serving as the Vice President for Research at the Medical University of South Carolina since November 2021. Additionally, they hold the position of Professor of Neuroscience at the Medical University of South Carolina College of Medicine, starting from November 2021. Prior to these roles, they had a long tenure at the University of Alabama at Birmingham, where they held various positions including Dean Emeritus, Graduate School University of Alabama at Birmingham, Dean Graduate School, Professor and Graduate School Dean, and Full Professor. Lori L. McMahon completed a postdoctoral fellowship in neurobiology at Duke University from 1993 to 1998.
