Benjamin Bigaut

Benjamin Bigaut has extensive work experience in operations and manufacturing engineering roles. Benjamin currently serves as the Director of Operations at MediSens Wireless, Inc. since June 2022. Prior to this, they worked as the Director of NPI Operations at Teradyne from November 2021 to February 2022.

From October 2015 to November 2021, Benjamin worked at Hitachi Energy as the Director of Operations for the Wireless business unit. In this role, they were responsible for various operations including manufacturing, kitting, NPI and manufacturing engineering, purchasing, inventory control, shipping/receiving, logistics, and warranty repair. Benjamin also defined and implemented a contract manufacturer outsourcing strategy.

Before joining Hitachi Energy, Benjamin held multiple positions at Anritsu. Benjamin served as the Manufacturing Engineering Manager from January 2009 to October 2015, where they managed a team of manufacturing engineers supporting various handheld products. Benjamin also introduced several new products to manufacturing. Previously, they worked as the Manufacturing Manager from May 2008 to January 2009, leading a manufacturing team and leveraging LEAN principles for production lines. Benjamin also served as an Operations Program Manager from March 2007 to April 2008, successfully managing the transfer of UK manufacturing operations to California. In addition, they worked as a Production Supervisor and Manufacturing Engineer from August 2003 to March 2007, managing a production team and resolving technical and production issues. Benjamin started their career at Anritsu as a Manufacturing Engineer from August 2001 to August 2003, providing technical support to RF/microwave module production lines.

Lastly, Benjamin was a Co-Founder of Wisheo: Group Wishlists & Gifts (Mabest, LLC) from April 2007 to November 2009.

Benjamin Bigaut's education history begins in 1997 when they attended EAI Tech for a period of two years. During this time, they pursued a field of study in Electrical Engineering. In 1999, Benjamin enrolled in Virginia Tech to further their education and obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering in 2001. Benjamin also earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Electrical Engineering from the same institution during the same period.

Moving ahead, Benjamin pursued their Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the Haas School of Business at the University of California, Berkeley. Benjamin attended the university from 2012 to 2015.

As for additional certifications, Benjamin obtained three certifications in May 2022. These included "Excel: Lookup Functions in Depth" and "Excel: VLOOKUP and XLOOKUP for Beginners" from LinkedIn. Benjamin also completed a certification in "Quality Management Foundations" from LinkedIn during the same time.
