Jonathan Beckham

Jonathan Beckham, PMP, CSM, CSPO, has extensive work experience in various technology roles. Jonathan is currently serving as the VP of Product, Payments at Medius since March 2022. Prior to that, they were the Chief Technology Officer at OnPay Solutions from September 2020 to March 2022. Jonathan also held key positions at Step Up For Students, where they served as the Chief Information Officer from July 2018 to September 2020, Vice President of Information Technology from June 2016 to June 2018, and Senior Director of Technology, Software Development, and Development Lead from March 2010 to June 2016. Additionally, they co-founded and served as the CEO of When I Arrive, Inc. from January 2012 to July 2013. Jonathan's earlier experience includes roles at Florida Virtual School as a Software Developer and Senior Manager from September 2004 to March 2010, at Citistreet as a Software Development Engineer from August 2002 to September 2004, and various software development roles at America Online, Nortel Networks, and Alcatel/Nokia from May 2000 to August 2002.

Jonathan Beckham earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from the University of Florida, where they attended from 1997 to 2001. Jonathan also pursued Post Bac Studies in Software Engineering and Business at the University of North Florida.

In terms of certifications, Jonathan obtained several qualifications. Jonathan became a Project Management Professional (PMP) through the Project Management Institute in 2012. Jonathan also received certifications as a Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) and Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) from the Scrum Alliance in 2018. Additionally, Jonathan holds a Certified Ethical Hacker certification from EC-Council, which they obtained in April 2015. Jonathan also completed Lean Software Development certification through LinkedIn in 2021 and AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner certification through Amazon in 2020. In the future, they plan to earn a Product-led Certification from Credly in 2023 and has undertaken online courses in Data Science and Transact-SQL with edX.
