Faisal Anwar Malik

Faisal Anwar Malik currently serves as the EVP & Head of the Credit Quality Assurance Unit at Meezan Bank Limited, responsible for conducting reviews of credit proposals and ensuring compliance with policies and Islamic banking principles. Previously, Faisal held the role of EVP & Head of the Supply Chain Finance Unit, where Faisal established Pakistan’s first Islamic SCF unit and collaborated with major corporates to create financing products. Faisal's earlier experience includes leadership positions at Meezan Bank's Corporate and Investment Banking Group, Citibank NA Pakistan, and Habib Bank Limited, focusing on credit quality enhancement and corporate banking relationships. Faisal also has experience in consultancy roles with Quixote Wind Associates and Bright Horizons, as well as product management at Johnson & Johnson Pakistan. Faisal holds multiple degrees, including an MBA from Babson College and an MBA from the Institute of Business Administration, complemented by a BSc in Electrical Engineering from EME College.
