Rosie Burns Sphr

Rosie Burns SPHR, SHRM-SCP, serves as the Director of Human Resources at Mercer Island School District since October 2016. Previously held the position of Senior Human Resources Manager at RPI from May 2011 to October 2016, focusing on leadership development and performance improvement. Rosie also worked as the HR Director at PCA SKIN, overseeing recruitment and providing guidance on HR policies and employee relations. Earlier roles include HR Manager at Thomson Learning, HR Consultant at HR Services NW, and as an HR Director at eFusion, where Rosie significantly enhanced recruiting processes. Additional experience includes serving as a TEFL Instructor with the US Peace Corps and earlier HR consulting roles. Rosie holds a Bachelor's degree in Education from Western Washington University.
