Brenton Paolella

Principal Scientist, Discovery Oncology at Merck

Brenton Paolella is a Principal Scientist in Discovery Oncology at Merck since January 2022, with prior experience as a Senior Research Scientist at the Broad Institute of MIT and Harvard from July 2017 to January 2022, focusing on cancer biology and drug discovery. Previously, Brenton served as a Postdoctoral Fellow at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute and the Broad Institute from July 2012 to July 2017, conducting research on cancer vulnerabilities and functional genomics. Brenton earned a Ph.D. in Genetics from Dartmouth College and a Bachelor of Science in Molecular, Cellular, and Developmental Biology from the University of New Hampshire, alongside educational experience at Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory.
