Michael O'Connor

Michael is Mercury's Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) Director. Michael leads Mercury's EHS function across the Group and sits on the company's Executive Management Team (EMT).

Michael is tasked with ensuring that Mercury is always achieving the highest possible standards of Health & Safety. Safety is embedded in the DNA – from design to construction, commissioning, and handover – and the processes ensure adequate coordination and communication which enable the projects to be constructed securely. Michael firmly believes that if everyone on a Mercury site adheres to a safe coordinated plan, he can guarantee that the teams get home safely to their families at the end of every day.
