Jonathan Bearce

Jonathan Bearce is the Director of Operations at Merlin Labs. Jonathan was previously a test pilot student at the United States Air Force Test Pilot School, where they received the Lithen-Tittle Award and graduated with distinction. Jonathan then served as a developmental test pilot for the F-35 and F-16 aircraft, and was also an instructor pilot for the Test Pilot School. Jonathan has held various positions including Lead Mission Systems Test Pilot, Project Pilot, Director of Operations, and Chief Government Test Pilot. Jonathan has also served as a Standardization and Evaluation Pilot for MAG-13 in the United States Marine Corps, and was a firefighter and first responder with the Escambia County Emergency Services.

Jonathan Bearce's educational career includes a Master of Science in Flight Test Engineering from Air University, a Master of Science in Distinguished Graduate from the United States Air Force Test Pilot School, Command and Staff College from the Marine Corps University, and Expeditionary Warfare School from the Marine Corps University. Jonathan also has a Bachelor of Science in Aerospace, Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering from the United States Naval Academy.

They work with Patrick DePriest - VP, Finance, Eric Schanberger - Information Technology Director, and Shaun Johnson - CEO Merlin Labs NZ Limited. Their manager is Matt George, CEO.
