Michael Myrland

Director Of Technology Enablement at DataSite

Michael Myrland has a strong background in software engineering and technology enablement. Michael currently works at Datasite as the Director of Technology Enablement, a role they have held since July 2022. Michael also has experience at Bluestem Brands, where they worked as a Software Engineer in ECommerce IT from June 2013 to October 2016. In this role, they designed and developed backend systems for managing payroll deductions, loan distribution, and enabling new site launches.

Earlier in their career, Michael worked at Best Buy from December 2010 to June 2013. Michael served as a Sr. Technical Analyst in Digital Operations, where they acted as a subject matter expert for digital product setup, fulfillment, and systems integration. Michael also designed and developed processes, applications, and systems integration to enable digital fulfillment and reduce costs.

Additionally, at Best Buy, Michael worked as a Technical Analyst in PC App Operations from December 2010 to May 2011. In this role, they developed an application to automate SKU setup processes and catalog code generation, and maintained and monitored operational processes of Best Buy's digital distribution platform.

Michael Myrland has a lengthy educational background. Michael obtained an Associate's degree in Database Development and Software Development from Minneapolis College, where they studied from 2011 to 2013. Prior to that, they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design/Interactive Multimedia at UW Eau Claire, attending from 2000 to 2004. Michael also completed another Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design Interactive Multimedia at the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire, where they studied from 1999 to 2004.
