Jack Wildman

Jack Wildman has a diverse work experience. Jack is currently working as a Senior Backend Engineer at Metaculus since February 2023. Prior to this, they worked at Ito World from January 2020 to February 2023, where they held the roles of Development Team Lead and Senior C++ Developer. At Ito World, they were responsible for developing transit data pipelines and applications, utilizing a tech stack comprising C++, Java, and Python. Before that, Jack worked at STMicroelectronics as a Software Design Engineer from February 2017 to January 2020. In this role, they developed drivers and algorithms for Time-of-Flight and Ambient Light Sensing devices, using languages such as C, Python, C#, and shell scripts. Jack'searlier experience includes working as a PhD Researcher at Heriot-Watt University from September 2012 to February 2017, where they performed Molecular Dynamics simulations and conducted research on organic semiconducting materials. Additionally, during their time at the university, Jack also worked as a Teaching Assistant from September 2012 to December 2015.

Jack Wildman attended Heriot-Watt University from 2012 to 2016, where they completed their undergraduate degree in Mathematical Physics.
