Markos Komondouros is an accomplished entrepreneur and financial advisor with extensive experience in establishing and managing impactful organizations in Greece. As the Founder and Partner at Investing for Purpose since February 2022, Markos focuses on providing growth financing for social enterprises and promoting blended investment strategies among traditional investors. Markos also serves as Chairman of Filisia, which develops technology for individuals with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities, and is a Board Member of METAdrasi, addressing migration and refugee needs in Greece. Other ventures include founding the Athens Open School and co-founding Heliogenesis, which created Greece's largest photovoltaic plant. Markos's career includes significant roles at Vector Partners, Nireas S.A., and UBS, where Markos held executive and leadership positions. Educational qualifications include a Master's in Applied Linguistics from Birkbeck, an MBA from London Business School, and a Bachelor's in Mathematics from Imperial College London.
