Surili Sutaria Patel

Surili Sutaria Patel is the Vice President at Metropolitan Group. Surili has dedicated their career to public health and has worked with various organizations to improve the health of communities.

Surili started their career as a research associate at the National Institute of Mental Health (NIMH). From there, they became a health policy fellow at the Progressive Policy Institute and then a field organizer at LA Dems. In 2009, they began working as an analyst for public health preparedness at the Association of State and Territorial Health Officials. The following year, they became a health outreach consultant at the Union of Concerned Scientists.

In their current role as Vice President at Metropolitan Group, Surili leads a team of communications professionals who work with clients to develop and implement strategic communications plans. Surili has a passion for using their communications skills to improve public health and make a positive impact on the world.

Surili Sutaria Patel completed their undergraduate degree at the University of Maryland Baltimore County before going on to Georgetown University to complete their Master's degree.

Surili Sutaria Patel reports to Eric Friedenwald-Fishman, Creative Director, Founder & CEO. They are on a team with Ashley Bloom Royal - Senior Director, Project Management, Corinne Nakamura-Rybak - VP, Visual Communication, and Haim Malka - Vice President.
