Marek Schimmer

Marek Schimmer currently serves as the Head of Learning & Development at Metrostav a.s. since April 2022. Prior to this role, Marek held the position of Head of L&D at Prague Airport from October 2019 to May 2022. With extensive experience in HR management and consultancy, Marek worked as a Senior HR Business Manager, Consultant, and L&D Lead at HR Advisory from 2014 to 2021, providing advisory services and external consultancy for HR agencies. Previous roles include HR Manager at Grafton Recruitment (2012-2014), HR Manager for the Czech Republic and Slovakia at McDonald's Europe Ltd. (2009-2012), HR Manager for the CEE Region at Interoute (2007-2009), and HR T&D Manager at Schneider Electric (2000-2007). Marek holds a Master’s degree in social psychology from Charles University, earned between 1994 and 2000.
