Edfp Jeremy Webb

Jeremy Webb, EDFP has a diverse work experience in various economic development roles in Michigan. Jeremy started their career at the Michigan Unemployment Insurance Agency as an Unemployment Insurance Examiner, where they provided claims service and investigated fraudulent claims. Jeremy then worked at the Michigan Occupational Safety and Health Administration as a Lead Worker before joining the Michigan Economic Development Corporation (MEDC). At MEDC, Jeremy held several positions including Program Specialist, Business Development Project Manager, Senior Business Development Project Manager, Interim Managing Director, and currently serves as the Managing Director. In these roles, they were responsible for managing loan and grant programs, overseeing business development projects, and providing strategic oversight for the organization's financial incentive packaging. Jeremy's work focused on stimulating economic development and securing the best rate of return for the State of Michigan.

Jeremy Webb, EDFP, holds a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education from Central Michigan University, which was obtained from 2006 to 2009. Prior to that, they had attended Lansing Community College from 2002 to 2005, where they completed transfer credit classes. Jeremy has also obtained certification as an Economic Development Finance Professional from the National Development Council in June 2014.
