Embedded Software Engineer at Michigan Mars Rover - Student Project Team

Jonah Parkes is an accomplished computer science student at the University of Michigan, expected to graduate in 2024. Currently serving as an Instructional Aide for EECS 470 and EECS 402, Jonah focuses on out-of-order processor design in SystemVerilog and teaches foundational programming skills in C++. As an Embedded Software Engineer for the Michigan Mars Rover project team, Jonah is involved in developing embedded software systems. Previous internship experiences include roles at Lucid Motors, working on vehicle charging communications platforms, and at MathWorks, performing embedded Coder MISRA violation analysis. Jonah also contributed to database construction at Transamerica and participated in smartwatch application development for heart failure prediction at the Weil Institute for Critical Care Research and Innovation.
