Robert T. Vampola

Robert Vampola is currently the Vice President of Aerospace & Defense at Microchip Technology. Vampola has over thirty years of experience in the semiconductor industry and has spent the majority of their career in sales positions. Vampola began their career as an engineer at Santa Barbara Research Center before moving into sales at Actel Corporation where they eventually became Regional Sales Manager. In 2010, Actel Corporation was acquired by Microsemi and Vampola became Vice President of Sales for their Aerospace & Defense division. In 2018, Vampola transitioned to their current role at Microchip Technology.

Robert T. Vampola received their Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from UC Santa Barbara.
