Nancy Kellar

Director of Training, Compliance, Quality Assurance and Certification Assurance at Midwest Health Services

Nancy Kellar has more than two decades of experience in the administration of residential services for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

Nancy has been developing, implementing and monitoring behavior management plans for people with challenging behaviors since 1980. She has extensive experience in the supervision of staff and services for people with disabilities in all types of residential settings in Ohio and has served as the Director of the Adult Education Department at the Colin Anderson Center in West Virginia.

Prior to joining Midwest, Nancy served NEON as a Program Manager providing technical support to Supported Living/Waiver Providers and County Board of Developmental Disabilities staff in Stark and Geauga Counties.

Nancy believes in "Person First" services and supports in quality living environments. Her role is to ensure that staff understand each individual's requirements as identified by the individual and his or her interdisciplinary team. Nancy supervises all aspects of our programs to ensure that the supports developed in the Individual Service Plan are implemented.

She has a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology and a Master's Degree in Special Education-Severe and Profound Handicaps from West Virginia University.
