Keyanna Thompson has a diverse work experience, beginning with their role as a Youth Advocate for the United Nations in 2013. Keyanna then worked as a Help Desk Technician & IT Intern for Deloitte in 2014, a Residential Peer Leader for Brown University in 2015, a Participant (Investment Banking Group) for Sponsors for Educational Opportunity in 2015, a Communications Fellow for Social Change Agents Institute (SCAI) in 2015, and a Youth and Government Judicial Advisor for the YMCA of Greater New York in 2014. In 2018, they began working for Walmart as a Store & E-Commerce, Textured Hair & Beauty Aids Buyer, and was later promoted to Senior E-commerce Buyer, Hair Care, where they managed a multi-million dollar P&L. In 2021, they joined Reckitt as an E-Commerce Key Account Manager, Grocery Channel (inc. Instacart & Door Dash). Most recently, in 2022, Keyanna began working for Maesa as a Senior Manager, Brand & Product Development, and also for Mielle Organics LLC as a Brand Manager.

Keyanna Thompson graduated from Vanguard High School in 2014 as Valedictorian. Keyanna then attended Brown University, where they earned a Bachelor's degree in Economics in 2018.
