Sheena Garner

Sheena Garner has extensive experience in occupational health, safety, and environmental roles. Sheena is currently serving as the Corporate Occupational Health Manager at MillerKnoll, where they are responsible for leading cross-functional project teams and providing expertise in industrial hygiene, ergonomics, health services, mental health, and workers compensation programs.

Prior to their current role, Sheena worked at Nestlé Purina North America for several years. Sheena served as a Senior Human Resources Generalist, Assistant Safety Manager, and was also involved in a Safety Start Up Project. In these roles, they managed safety programs, facilitated operational safety improvements, and implemented safety management systems for manufacturing facilities.

Before joining Nestlé Purina, Sheena was the Environmental Health and Safety Manager at PaperWorks Industries, Inc., where they orchestrated EHS activities, managed EHS data, and developed comprehensive EHS programs.

Sheena's earlier experience includes working as a Health, Safety, and Environmental Coordinator at Cintas, where they managed compliance and training, and as a Physical Science Technician at the National Institute of Occupational Safety and Health, where they conducted laboratory research and studies related to aerosol sampling and mining instrumentation.

Sheena Garner began their education journey in 2007, where they attended West Chester University of Pennsylvania. From 2007 to 2012, they pursued a Bachelor's of Science in Public Health with a specialization in Environmental Health.

In 2014, Sheena Garner enrolled at the University of Pennsylvania to continue their education. Sheena successfully completed their Master of Public Health (MPH) degree with a focus on Environmental Health in 2016.

Furthering their educational aspirations, in 2016, Sheena Garner attended Cedar Crest College. Sheena dedicated herself to earning a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Business Administration and Management, which they completed in 2018.

In addition to their formal education, Sheena Garner has also obtained certifications to enhance their expertise. In July 2019, they became an Associate Safety Professional (ASP) through the Board of Certified Safety Professionals. Furthermore, in February 2023, they obtained certification in Adult Mental Health First Aid USA from the National Council for Mental Wellbeing.
