Gabriele Sorrento

CEO & Co-Founder at Mindesk

Gabriele Sorrento has a diverse work experience. Gabriele is currently the Board Director and CEO of AMER at Vection Technologies since February 2020. Prior to that, they were the CEO and Co-Founder of Mindesk since February 2015. In addition to their roles in the tech industry, Gabriele has also been involved in various organizations. Gabriele served as the Digital Enterprise Special Section Chairperson at the Industrial Designers Society of America (IDSA) starting from November 2020. Gabriele was also the President of the Silicon Valley Chapter at the VR AR Association from October 2020 to December 2021. In terms of their early career, they worked as a Patent Engineer at Geopogo from November 2015 to April 2016. Before that, they were a Fulbright BEST Fellow at The Fulbright Program, where they developed the business project "Mindesk" as a real-time SaaS platform for CAD software from August 2015 to March 2016. Gabriele also gained valuable experience as an intern student at Renzo Piano Buildind Workshop, Bizzi & Partners Development, and Politecnico di Milano from March 2012 to July 2012.

Gabriele Sorrento's education history includes completing the Fulbright BEST Program, earning a Certificate in Entrepreneurship and Management from Santa Clara University Leavey School of Business, specializing in Business Administration and Management from 2015 to 2016. Prior to that, Sorrento pursued a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Architectural Engineering at Politecnico di Milano from 2009 to 2014. Additionally, in 2010 and 2011, Sorrento participated in a Cultural Exchange Program at Ball State University, focusing on Architecture.
