Carissa Wigginton

Carissa Wigginton currently serves as a Law Clerk at Minnesota Lawyers Mutual Insurance Company since May 2023 and will work as a Certified Law Student Practitioner in the Special Education Clinic at the University of St. Thomas Legal Services Clinic from January 2024 to May 2024. Prior to their legal pursuits, Wigginton gained significant experience in journalism, notably as a Sports Reporter for Forum Communications Co. from May 2019 to March 2022, where achievements included multiple awards for Sports Reporting. Additional roles included a Digital Reporter at Cronkite News and an internship at Forum Communications Co. Wigginton holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Journalism from the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication at Arizona State University.
