Chrl Darya Ilyenko

Darya Ilyenko, CHRL has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. Darya is currently the VP of People at MiQ, where they are responsible for leading the Canadian HR team and ensuring a positive employee experience. Prior to this, they served as an HR Director at MiQ, where they successfully navigated the challenges of the pandemic and contributed to the growth of the business.

Before joining MiQ, Darya worked as an HR Manager at Zulu Alpha Kilo Inc., where they designed and implemented strategic HR programs to enhance the company's culture. Darya also gained experience as an HR Advisor at Dyson, providing support to various departments and managing full-cycle HR activities.

Darya's career began as an HR Generalist at Mindshare, where they supported multiple corporate entities and played a key role in managing team changes and implementing HRIS systems. Darya also served as an HR Coordinator at Mindshare, taking on responsibilities early in their career and gaining valuable experience in recruitment, employee relations, and performance management.

In addition to their corporate experience, Darya has also worked in the non-profit sector, serving as a Summer Camp Coordinator at The 519 Church Street Community Centre. Darya also worked as an After-school Program Supervisor at Dixie Bloor Neighbourhood Centre.

Darya Ilyenko, CHRL completed their education in a chronological manner. Darya received a Bachelor of Arts (Honors) degree in Sociology from the University of Toronto between 2005 and 2010. Following that, they pursued a Post-Graduate Certificate in Human Resources Management at Ryerson University from 2010 to 2013.

Throughout their educational journey, Darya also obtained additional certifications. In September 2020, they became a Mental Health First Aider certified by the Mental Health Commission of Canada.
