Rajat S. has extensive work experience in various leadership and financial roles. Currently, they serve as the Chief Operating Officer at Mitacs, where they provide strategic leadership and executive responsibility for financial and corporate performance. Previously, they worked as the Associate Vice President Finance at the Provincial Health Services Authority, overseeing financial strategy and management. Rajat also held the position of Chief Financial Officer & General Manager, Corporate Services at the City of Abbotsford and served as a Senior Manager in financial services at the Capital Regional District. Additionally, Rajat has experience in healthcare capital planning, having worked as a Senior Manager at the Capital Regional Hospital District. Rajat began their career at the BC Public Service as a Capital Planning Analyst and later served as a Treasury Analyst at Impark. Rajat also worked as an Investment Analyst at HBD & Associates, focusing on the biotech sector.

Rajat S. holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from the University of San Francisco, which was completed in 2002. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Instrumentation Engineering from the University of Mumbai.
