Viviana Mancini, PhD, has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and research fields. Viviana started their professional journey as a Library Clerk at Politecnico di Milano in 2012. Later on, they worked as a Sales Staff at Il Restauro Ligneo di Mancini Emanuele from 2011 to 2014. In 2014, they joined Penn State University as a Research Student. Viviana then briefly worked as a Product Specialist at Lutech in 2015 before pursuing their European PhD at Universiteit Gent from 2015 to 2020. During their time at Universiteit Gent, Viviana conducted experimental and computational experiments within the CARDIS project, focusing on the feasibility of using the Laser Doppler Vibrometer to detect carotid stenosis. In 2016, they worked as a Guest PhD Researcher at both Queen Mary University of London and Simula Research Laboratory. In 2019, they took on the role of Clinical Research Specialist at Ennovis SRL, where they were responsible for following the clinical procedures for the acquisition of a novel device for breast cancer diagnosis. Following this, they joined LivaNova as a Quality Engineer in 2020 and is currently working in the same position at MMI S.p.A since 2021. Viviana's work experience showcases their expertise in research, project management, and quality assurance.

Viviana Mancini, PhD has an impressive education history. Viviana began their academic journey in 2006 at Lavian Lukio in Finland, where they completed their high school education. In 2009, they enrolled at Politecnico di Milano and obtained their Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering in 2013. Following their undergraduate studies, Viviana pursued a Master's degree in Biomedical Engineering, specializing in Biomechanics and Biomaterials, at Politecnico di Milano from 2013 to 2015. Building upon their knowledge and expertise, they then attended Ghent University from 2015 to 2020, where they earned a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Biomedical Engineering. Viviana Mancini's education journey reflects their commitment to advancing their knowledge and skills in the field of biomedical engineering.
