Maciej Oginski

Maciej Oginski has extensive experience in the video game industry as a translator and executive producer. Maciej started their career in 2010 as a freelance video game translator for MO Group International and Loc3 - Localisation services. From 2012 to 2017, they worked as a freelance video game translator for Babel Media, translating and proofreading projects for various game developers including Disney Interactive Entertainment and Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment.

In 2015, Maciej joined Keywords Studios as a freelance video game translator, where they worked on projects for Lucasfilm/Disney Interactive Entertainment and Warner Bros. In the same year, they also started working as a freelance translator for Quantic Lab, translating and proofreading projects for various game developers such as MuHa Games and Logic Artists.

In 2016, Maciej worked as a freelance translator for EDS Wordland UK, translating and proofreading video games and marketing materials for companies like Klei Entertainment and Giant Sparrow. Maciej also worked as a freelance translator for Level Up Translation, Geeyoo, and Universally Speaking, translating video games.

In 2018, Maciej began working at Manufaktura Dźwięku as an executive producer, managing sound/VO recording sessions for video games and motion pictures. Maciej is responsible for maintaining partnerships with third parties, managing project deadlines, coordinating recording sessions, and ensuring projects are completed within budget and on time.

Throughout their career, Maciej has worked on various notable projects, including localizing the voice over audio for Apex Legends by Respawn Entertainment/Electronic Arts and translating games such as Mad Max by Avalanche Studios/Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment and Don't Starve Together by Klei Entertainment.

Maciej Oginski obtained a Bachelor's degree in Homeland Security from the University of Warsaw, where they studied from 2010 to 2013. In 2016, they also obtained a certification in "Magic in the Middle Ages" from Coursera Course Certificates.
