Jon S.

Jon S. has a diverse work history spanning several companies and positions. Jon began their career at Lockheed Martin in 1999, where they served as a Senior Member Engineering Staff, working on program risk management and web application design. In 2005, they joined Accenture as a Senior Consultant, leading data interface projects for the US Postal Service and overseeing technical architecture teams.

In 2006, Jon moved to IBM as a Managing Consultant, where they contributed to projects for ACE Insurance and Deloitte, delivering training and mentoring sessions on rationalization and data modeling.

From 2012 to 2017, Jon worked at erwin, Inc. as the Head of NA Professional Services Group. In this role, they managed and delivered high-stakes enterprise architecture consulting engagements for Fortune 500 companies.

Jon joined MuleSoft in 2017 as an Engagement Manager, eventually progressing to the roles of Sr. Manager of Engagement Management and Director of Engagement Management. During their time at MuleSoft, they led services sales teams for Retail & Consumer Goods across North America, driving sales, platform adoption, and helping customers achieve their business outcomes.

Most recently, as of 2022, Jon is employed at MongoDB as a Senior Engagement Manager.

Jon S. has a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from Rutgers University - Camden, which they obtained from 1996 to 1999. In 2000 to 2001, they attended the Fox School of Business at Temple University, where they focused on Business Administration, Management, and Operations. Jon also attained a high school diploma from Haddonfield Memorial High School from 1991 to 1994.

Jon S. has pursued further education and certifications throughout their career. In 2009, they obtained a Certified Enterprise Architect certification from Carnegie Mellon University. In 2011, they achieved the titles of Certified IT Architect from IBM, Master IT Architect from The Open Group, and Zachman Certified Enterprise Architect from Zachman International. Jon also obtained the TOGAF 9 certification from The Open Group during the same year.

In 2014, Jon S. acquired the Zachman Certified Enterprise Architect certification from Zachman International. Jon completed the Certified Scrum Master certification from the International Scrum Institute™ in 2017. Recently, in 2021, they obtained the Salesforce Accelerate Leadership certification from Salesforce.

In addition to their formal education, Jon S. has demonstrated a commitment to ongoing professional development and specialized learning in the fields of disruptive strategy and leading professional services firms. In 2015, they completed the Clayton Christensen Online Learning program in Disruptive Strategy from Harvard Business School Online. Furthermore, in 2016, they participated in the Executive Education program on Leading Professional Services Firms at Harvard Business School.
