Shishir Gupta

Shishir Gupta has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Shishir is currently working as the HR Director at MongoDB, starting in July 2022. Prior to this, they worked at Whirlpool Corporation from 2017 to 2022, holding positions such as Director - Global HR Shared Services and Global HR Reporting & Analytics Leader. In these roles, they were responsible for setting up HR reporting and analytics processes, leading a team of analysts, and using data analysis to influence operational changes. Before Whirlpool Corporation, Shishir worked at Ameriprise Financial from 2008 to 2017 as the Manager - HR Reporting & Analytics. Shishir led a team responsible for preparing HR reports, dashboards, and presentations, and supported the HR leadership team in identifying business challenges. Shishir's earlier experience includes a role as Senior Executive - Finance at Star Track Terminals, where they prepared financial reports, budgets, and project plans, and as Senior Supervisor - Finance at JK Dairy & Foods Limited.

Shishir Gupta obtained an MBA in Finance and International Business from the Institute of Management Technology, Ghaziabad, completing their studies from 2003 to 2006. Shishir also holds six HR certifications from the Carlton Advanced Management Institute in the USA. As for additional certifications, Shishir acquired the title of Professional Coach from Grow More Avenues in January 2022. Shishir obtained a certification in Strategic People Management from the Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta in August 2021. Shishir also holds the Certified Psychometric Test Professional designation from the Carlton Advanced Management Institute, USA, obtained in April 2017. In October 2016, they achieved certifications from Carlton Advanced Management Institute (Middle Earth HR) as a Certified HR Analytics & Metrics Professional and from Carlton Advanced Management Institute, USA as a Certified Appreciative Coach and Counsellor. Shishir possesses other certifications such as Certified HR Metrics & Analytics Professional from Meritt Consulting, Certified Performance & Competency Developer and Certified Talent Management Analyst from the Carlton Advanced Management Institute, USA, and Certified in Strategic Intellectual from the Indian Institute of Management, Indore.
