Zuzanna Kłyszejko, Ph.D., has a diverse range of work experience in the field of data science, user experience research, and experimental psychology. Zuzanna is currently working at MongoDB as a Lead Data Scientist, a role they have held since August 2020. Prior to this, they worked at Wayfair as a Senior Data Scientist, where they applied their skills to design and implement algorithms to enhance the user shopping experience. At Wayfair, they were also actively involved in public speaking and science outreach activities.
Before their role at Wayfair, Zuzanna was a Data Science Fellow at Insight Data Science. During their time at Insight, they built an app called VanGo that improved the British Museum's user experience by recommending artwork. Zuzanna also utilized natural language processing and recommendation algorithms for artworks.
Zuzanna's background includes a Ph.D. in Experimental Psychology | Cognitive Neuroscience from New York University. Their research focused on how the brain acquires probabilistic information for visual attention and involved the implementation and testing of experimental questions using behavioral responses and eye movement time-series data. Zuzanna also has experience as a UX Research Scientist at the National Information Processing Institute and as a Graduate Research and Teaching Assistant at Uniwersytet SWPS.
Additionally, Zuzanna has gained industry experience as a UX Research Intern at uselab. Zuzanna has been actively involved in local meetups and national conferences, serving as a committee member and speaker.
Zuzanna Kłyszejko, Ph.D. completed their education in the field of psychology, with a focus on experimental psychology, cognition, and perception.
