Law Enforcement Team

The Law Enforcement Team at the Monroe County Sheriff’s Office is responsible for maintaining public safety across the Florida Keys. This includes patrolling U.S. 1 and the islands, responding to emergencies, conducting criminal investigations, ensuring the security of detention facilities, and providing legal counsel to the Sheriff. They play a crucial role in upholding law and order over approximately 125 miles of interconnected islands.
