Chief Business Officer & Head Strategy, APAC & Gulf at Monster

Suraj Panigrahy is currently the Chief Business Officer & Head Strategy for Monster in the APAC & Gulf region. Prior to this, they were with GoMMT as the Business Head for Partnership from June 2018 to June 2020. Suraj was instrumental in establishing the MakeMyTrip Experiences line of business, which included partnering with more than 50,000 businesses under various categories such as FnB, Movies, Events & Entertainment, Activities & Experiences, Sports, IPL, and Cab Industry. Suraj also partnered with AIA (Airport Authority of India) to create services within airports across India.

Before joining GoMMT, Suraj was with Little Internet Private Limited from March 2015 to February 2018 as the Head of Sales. During their tenure there, they turned the start-up into India’s leading deals app, expanding it to 30 cities with 30,000 merchant partners and a 4M user base in just 2 years. Suraj's achievements include building a sales team of more than 300 professionals across India, structuring multiple multi-million dollar deals for Little App, and making operational profit in each of the 10 units across India.

Suraj Panigrahy graduated with a MS in Software Engineering from the Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani. Suraj also holds certifications from LinkedIn in Guy Kawasaki on Entrepreneurship, Social Selling with LinkedIn, Solution Sales, and Strategic Partnerships: Ecosystems and Platforms.

They are on a team with Steven DeLisle - Chief Technology Officer, Nicholas Bruno - Chief Information Security Officer, and Nathan Brumby - Chief Transformation Officer. Their manager is Scott Gutz, CEO.
