Ricky Mar Aclo has extensive work experience in the culinary industry. Ricky Mar began their career as a Cook at Louie and Chit catering services, specializing in International cuisine, from 2009 to 2014. Ricky Mar then worked as a Chef at The Peninsula Hotels from 2014 to 2016. Following that, they served as a Chef De Partie at Matinloc Resort from 2016 to 2017. Ricky continued to gain experience as a Sous Chef at Montebello Hotels from 2017 to 2019. Ricky Mar then took on the role of Head Chef at Las Palmas Villas and Casitas from 2019 to 2020. Ricky's career progressed to being a Sous Chef at Dusit Hotels and Resorts in Davao from November to December 2021. In 2021, they joined The Social Company (Jason Atherton Restaurants) as a Sous Chef, where they worked until July 2022. Currently, Ricky holds the position of Head Chef at Montebello Villa Hotel, starting in June 2022.

Ricky Mar Aclo pursued their education by completing an Associate of Arts degree in Business, Management, Marketing, and Related Support Services from St. Paul University Manila. Ricky Mar attended the university from 2010 to 2011. Prior to that, Ricky Mar Aclo studied Accounting at SNNHS from 2005 to 2009. In addition to their formal education, they obtained a certification as a FSCO Food Safety Compliance Officer from FoodSHAP® in September 2018.
