Ariana Oliveira Birkmeier

Ariana Oliveira Birkmeier has a strong background in quality assurance and pharmaceutical operations. Ariana is currently working as an Associate Director of Quality Assurance Operations/QP at MorphoSys since April 2022. Prior to this, they worked at bene-Arzneimittel GmbH from January 2019 to March 2022, initially as a Quality Assurance Manager and QP, and later as a Quality Manager QA Systems/QP. From September 2016 to December 2018, they held the position of Quality Manager at Astellas EMEA. Before that, they gained experience at Catalent Pharma Solutions, where they worked as a Stability Studies Supervisor from June 2014 to August 2016, and as an Analytical Development Specialist from February 2013 to May 2014. Ariana started their career as a Praktikantin at Riemser Arzneimittel AG from March 2010 to August 2010, acquiring knowledge in a GMP-regulated quality control laboratory. Ariana also worked as an Apothekerin at Apotheke "Farmacia Magalhaes", Portugal from July 2008 to January 2010, and as a Praktikantin at Hopital Edouard Herriot, Lyon from January 2008 to April 2008.

Ariana Oliveira Birkmeier has a strong education background in the field of chemistry and pharmaceuticals. Ariana completed their Abitur in Naturwissenschaften at Escola Secundária Jaime Cortesao in Coimbra, Portugal, from 1998 to 2002. Following that, they pursued a Master's degree in Pharmazie at Universidade de Coimbra, where they studied from 2002 to 2008.

Continuing their academic journey, Ariana went on to Leipzig University from 2010 to 2012, where they obtained another Master's degree in Advanced Spectroscopy in Chemistry. This furthered their expertise in the field.
