Namalka Liyanage

Namalka Liyanage has a diverse work experience in the telecommunications industry. They began their career as an Engineering Trainee at Etisalat Lanka (Private) Limited in 2013. In 2014, they represented Sri Lanka as a delegate at the World Conference on Youth. They then joined Dialog Axiata PLC in 2015 as an Engineer, where they contributed to the development of product and service innovation. In 2016, they started working at UNSW as a Casual Academic and a Researcher PHD Student. They recently joined Morse Micro in 2020 as a Communication Systems Engineer.

Namalka Liyanage completed a BSc Eng (Hons) in Electronic and Telecommunication Engineering at the University of Moratuwa from 2010 to 2015. Namalka then went on to pursue a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Electrical Engineering and Telecommunications at UNSW from 2016 to 2020.
