Nishat Tahsin

Nishat Tahsin has a diverse range of work experience. Nishat is currently working as a Researcher PhD Student at Motif FoodWorks, Inc. and as a PhD Student at BBSRC. Nishat also works as a Content Creator under the name NishatCooks for Tiktok Influencers. In the past, they worked as a Private Tutor at MyTutor.co.uk. Nishat gained valuable experience as a Sales Assistant at Clarks from 2015 to 2020, where they provided excellent customer service and demonstrated leadership skills. Additionally, Nishat has conducted research and gained practical skills through various work experiences. Nishat worked at the Blizard Institute, where they observed and learned about the development of bioinks for 3D bioprinted wound healing models. Nishat also explored bioengineering model systems at the institute. Nishat has gained research experience at Imperial College London, where they assisted PhD students in studying chemotherapy resistance associated with glioblastoma multiforme. Nishat also worked at University Hospital Southampton NHS FT, where they investigated the role of parental diet in regulating fetal CNS development. Furthermore, Nishat gained laboratory experience and presented a literature review in cutting-edge neuroscience research at UCL as a Summer Research Student.

Nishat Tahsin's education history begins in 2018 when they enrolled at the University of Reading to pursue a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Biochemistry. They completed their undergraduate studies in 2021. Currently, Nishat is attending King's College London, where they are working towards a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Biochemistry. This program is expected to end in 2025.
