Katie Hislop

Katie Hislop has a diverse work experience spanning several years. Katie most recently served as the Club Secretary for Devizes Running Club, starting in June 2023. Prior to that, they held the position of Chief of Staff and Project Director at Mott MacDonald, starting in September 2022. Katie has also worked in various roles within the British Army, including Personnel Transformation Programme Manager and Military Assistant to the Standing Joint Commander (UK). Katie has also served as the Chief of Staff to the Director General Vaccine Taskforce (VTF) at the Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy (BEIS). Katie's extensive military experience includes being a Commanding Officer and Royal Engineer Officer. Katie has also received training and education at Strategic Command, where they studied the Advanced Command and Staff Course and served as an Operational Planner.

Katie Hislop's education history includes a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Sports Sciences from the University of Exeter, completed from 1995 to 1998. Katie also received A-levels in Mathematics, French, History, and General Studies from Millfield School, completed from 1992 to 1994. Hislop obtained a Level 7 Diploma in Strategic Leadership and Executive Management from the Institute of Leadership and Management in 2008. Katie completed the Intermediate Command and Staff Course (Land) at the Joint Services Command and Staff College in 2008. Furthermore, Katie Hislop earned a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Business Administration, Management, and Operations from The Open University from 2009 to 2014. In 2015 and 2016, they obtained a Level 7 Diploma in Strategic Management and Leadership from the Chartered Management Institute. Additionally, they have acquired certifications in the Directors Development Programme from In Professional Development (INPD) in the years 2022 and 2022.
