Hilary Meeken has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Their most recent role has been as the Director of Firmware at Movano Inc. since July 2018. Prior to that, they worked at Energous Corporation as a Software Engineer from August 2015 to July 2018.

From 2011 to 2015, Hilary was a Software Manager at Truepath Engineering, where they were part of the founding team and developed terrestrial-based, broadband wireless network products for marine-based customers. During this time, they also single-handedly designed and developed an embedded proprietary MAC protocol using MIMO signaling technology for the Base Station and CPE on a PowerPC platform running Linux.

Before joining Truepath Engineering, Hilary worked at Trimble Military and Advanced Systems from August 2004 to January 2011 as a Member of Technical Staff. Here, they designed and developed a simulation framework for the next generation GPS DSP ASIC and worked closely with the ASIC team during testing.

Prior to that, they were a Senior Software Engineer at BeachReach Networks from November 2001 to July 2004, where they developed an 802.16-based advanced wireless network product called the BeamPlex System.

In the year 2000, Hilary was a Software Development Manager at Alcatel-Lucent, where they managed a team of 11 software engineers in developing Voice over IP for Alcatel's Trunking gateway.

Before joining Alcatel-Lucent, they worked at Stanford Wireless Broadband Inc. (Newbridge Networks) as a Principal Software Engineer from June 1997 to June 2000. Here, they developed a broadband wireless access system and managed a team of 8 software engineers developing the DAVIC MAC protocol.

Hilary began their career at Stanford Telecommunications Inc. as a Senior Firmware Engineer from July 1988 to June 1997.
