Yutong Du

Yutong Du has worked in a variety of roles in the localization industry since 2015. In 2015, they worked as a Multilingual Website Editor for Want Want China, where they updated translated content on the Sichuan Tourism multilingual website for the Traditional Chinese locale. In 2016, they worked as a Project Manager and Project Coordinator for Public Relations at OVAL CHINA, where they provided guidance to international participants during a business contest in Incheon, South Korea and made plans for an onsite event in Beijing. In 2018, they worked as a Social Media Editor Intern at HSF Digital Media Technology Beijing Ltd, where they managed social media accounts and created multimedia content. In 2021, they worked as a Marketing Team Lead for Localization at MIIS ROAR, where they managed the ROAR website on the CMS and updated website content. Currently, they are working as a Project/Account Manager at MultiLingual Technologies Inc. and as a Localization Project Manager at Translation Commons, where they interpret client needs to project specifications, analyzes localizability, customizes workflows and prepares files for multiple projects.

Yutong Du began their educational journey in 2011 when they graduated from Chengdu NO.7 High School with a High School Diploma in Science. Yutong then attended Beijing Normal University from 2014 to 2019, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts in English Language and Literature, General. Afterward, Yutong Du pursued a Master of Arts in Translation and Localization Management at the Middlebury Institute of International Studies at Monterey from 2020 to 2022. Additionally, Yutong Du obtained a JLPT N2 Japanese-Language Proficiency Test from The Japan Foundation and Japan Educational Exchanges and Services.
