Summer Camp Coach at Munster Rugby

Billy O'Brien has a diverse work experience in the field of rugby coaching and related roles. Billy has worked as a Home Tuition Tutor for The Rainbow Club Cork Centre for Autism since September 2020. Prior to this, they served as a Strength and Conditioning Coach for Midleton U16's Commogie starting from January 2020.

Billy also held the position of Head of Mini Rugby (coaching) at Head of Mini since September 2013.

Additionally, Billy has gained valuable experience working as a Summer Camp Coach and conducting Summer and Easter rugby camps for Munster Rugby from January 2010 to August 2015.

Furthermore, they have worked as a Referee for ITRA Tag Rugby since 2009, and as a Head Coach for Fun Rugby starting from 2008.

Billy has also contributed to Team Tours Direct as a Rugby Tournament Supervisor and Company Representative since April 2013.

Billy O'Brien completed their Bachelor's Degree in Physical Education and History at University College Cork from 2014 to 2018. Prior to that, from 2011 to 2012, they obtained an ITEC Level 2 Gym Instruction certification from K2NY Fermoy. In 2010 to 2011, Billy attended a FAS Course where they studied Rugby Coaching in the community, covering subjects like Health and Safety, Childcare, Rugby Coaching Development, Anatomy Physiology, and Team Work. Earlier in their education, from 1990 to 1996, Billy completed their Leaving Certificate at St Colmans Community College Midleton, covering all subjects. Billy also has an additional certification as an ITEC Level 2 Gym Instructor, but the specific details regarding its acquisition are not provided.
