Director of Institutional Giving at Museum of Jewish Heritage – A Living Memorial to the Holocaust

Elizabeth Venditto, PhD has a diverse range of work experience. Elizabeth started their career as a Visiting Assistant Professor in Immigration Studies at the University of Minnesota in 2016. Elizabeth then joined the Immigration History Research Center in 2013 as a Project Manager for Immigrant Stories. In this role, they successfully expanded the digital storytelling project and secured grants to support its growth. Elizabeth also developed partnerships with organizations both in the U.S. and in Berlin. Elizabeth presented their research at national and international conferences during this time. In 2017, they joined the NYC Office of the Mayor as a Policy Analyst and Mellon Foundation/ACLS Public Fellow. Their next role was at the Tenement Museum, where they initially served as the Institutional Giving Manager from 2018 to 2021, before being promoted to the role of Director of Institutional Giving from 2021 to 2022. Currently, Elizabeth is the Director of Institutional Giving at the Museum of Jewish Heritage – A Living Memorial to the Holocaust, starting in 2022.

Elizabeth Venditto, PhD has a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in History and Romance Languages from the University of Notre Dame, which they earned from 2004 to 2008. Elizabeth later pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Immigration History at the University of Minnesota, completing their studies from 2008 to 2014.
