Associate Director Of Education at Museum of Jewish Heritage – A Living Memorial to the Holocaust

Mallory Bubar has a diverse work experience in the field of education. Currently, Mallory holds the position of Associate Director of Education at the Museum of Jewish Heritage – A Living Memorial to the Holocaust since July 2022. Prior to this role, Mallory worked as a Lecturer and a PhD Candidate at Penn State University from August 2014 to July 2022. As a PhD Candidate, Mallory focused on the representation of children in Holocaust literature, film, and museums and presented their work at conferences regularly. Mallory also served as a Teaching Assistant and taught three courses per year. Mallory has also worked as an Adjunct Assistant Professor at Northern Virginia Community College from August 2021 to May 2022. Mallory's previous experience includes working as an Adjunct Lecturer at the University of Wyoming from January 2021 to December 2021, and as a Teaching Assistant at Mississippi State University from August 2012 to May 2014. At Mississippi State University, Mallory facilitated class sessions, created lesson plans, completed test preparation, and assisted with grading.

Mallory Bubar completed their education with a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in German Language and Literature from Penn State University, from 2014 to 2020. Before that, they obtained a Master of Arts (MA) in German Language and Literature from Mississippi State University, from 2012 to 2014. Mallory also holds a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Foreign Languages and Literatures from Mississippi State University, which they earned from 2008 to 2010. Additionally, they participated in a Study Abroad program in German at the CIEE Council on International Educational Exchange from 2004 to 2005.

Mallory Bubar also obtained a TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages) certification from Mississippi State University in May 2014.
