Vice President of Collections & Exhibitions at Museum of Jewish Heritage – A Living Memorial to the Holocaust

Maggie Radd has a diverse work experience in the museum and art industry. Maggie is currently serving as the Vice President of Collections & Exhibitions at the Museum of Jewish Heritage - A Living Memorial to the Holocaust since November 2020. Prior to this role, they held positions of Director of Registration and Exhibitions from August 2019 to November 2020, and Senior Manager for Exhibitions and Museum Registrar from November 2018 to August 2019 at the same museum.

Before joining the Museum of Jewish Heritage, Maggie worked at the Guggenheim Museum from September 2007 to November 2018. Maggie served as the Associate Registrar for Exhibitions from December 2014 to the present and earlier as the Assistant Registrar for Exhibitions from September 2007 to November 2014. During their tenure at the Guggenheim Museum, they played a significant role in preparing loan-based temporary exhibitions and providing support for multi-venue touring exhibitions.

Prior to their time at the Guggenheim Museum, Maggie worked at U.S.Art Company, Inc. from January 2002 to September 2007 as a Senior Domestic Customer Service Representative. Maggie specialized in calculating cost estimates and coordinating transportation schedules for artwork shipments, as well as providing condition reporting and advice on handling and packing methods.

Maggie's early experience includes working at the Islip Art Museum from June 1995 to November 2001. Maggie served as the Assistant Registrar/Exhibition Coordinator from January 1997 to November 2001 and earlier as the Exhibition Coordinator from 2001. In these roles, they were responsible for implementing exhibitions, conducting registrar and installation duties, and providing curatorial support.

Throughout their career, Maggie has gained extensive experience in collections and exhibitions management, registration, coordinating loan-based temporary exhibitions, and providing customer service within the art industry.

Maggie Radd attended the Fashion Institute of Technology from 1998 to 2000, where they earned an Associate's Degree in Fine and Studio Arts.
