Richard Rendell

Richard Rendell has a diverse work experience spanning over a number of industries and roles. Richard has held positions such as Head of HR Operations (Interim) at Musgrave, Director of People at Flybe, Chief People and Performance Officer at Royal Brunei Airlines, Senior Director HR EMEA at Concentrix, and Head of Human Resources at Bayanat for Mapping & Surveying Services LLC. Richard has also worked at companies like MAG (Airports Group), International Airlines Group (IAG), Air Mediterranean, Etihad Airways, and Cabair International (UK) Ltd. Richard has been responsible for strategic leadership, HR operations, talent acquisition, transformation of business models, and organizational growth.

Richard Rendell obtained a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Labor and Industrial Relations from the University of Kent in 1992. In 2012, they obtained a Certificate in Personal & Professional Development from Ulster University and a Certificate in the British Psychological Society Certification Course from Abu Dhabi University. Richard also obtained an Airline Transport Pilots License from Cabair, College of Air Training, Cranfield, England in 2008. In terms of additional certifications, they received a Certificate in HR Transformation from Cornell University in 2024 and a Certificate in Digital Transformation in HR from The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) in 2023. Richard holds various other certifications such as the Airline Transport Pilots License (Frozen) CPL/MEP/IR, Yachtmaster Coastal Certificate, Short Range Certificate, and Airbus A320 Type Rating, among others. Richard is a Chartered Member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel & Development (CIPD), a Member of IRP, and a Member of the Society of Human Resource Managers SHRM (USA).
