Lead R&D Engineer at myDevices

Eric Ptak's work experience begins in 2005 when they worked as a Technical Operator Intern at Orange for a few months. Eric then transitioned to a Technical Support role at Orange until 2007. From 2007 to 2008, they worked as a Research and Development Intern at Worldline by Atos, focusing on presence and identity federation using IMS to connect social networks. Eric also contributed to the implementation of a SIP to MSN Gateway. In 2008, they became a Research and Development Engineer at Worldline by Atos, working on projects related to communication, peer-to-peer technologies, and developing protocol translators. Eric stayed with the company until 2015. In 2012, Eric became the owner and developer of WebIOPi, an open-source Raspberry Pi IoT framework. Eric continued working on WebIOPi until 2022. In 2015, they joined myDevices as a Lead R&D Engineer, where they worked on the development of Cayenne, an IoT project builder, and was responsible for new protocol and hardware support.

Eric Ptak obtained their Master's degree in Telecommunications Engineering from Télecom Lille, where they studied from 2003 to 2008.
