Dian Safitri has a diverse and extensive work experience. Dian started their career as a Stakeholder Communications Manager at CEMEX in 2002. Dian then worked as a Consultant at RedWhite Communications Solutions and Inke Maris & Associates, where they managed and led strategic communication projects for various clients. In 2008, they became a Project Coordinator at Gavi, the Vaccine Alliance, overseeing advocacy programs and providing issues management advice.
In 2011, Dian founded their own consultancy, PRfect, where they served as the Founder and Principal Consultant. Dian successfully built the business and worked with prestigious clients such as Carrefour, NIVEA, and Fitness First.
Dian's career took their to Alibaba Group in 2018, where they served as the Director of Corporate Affairs, responsible for driving awareness of the company's mission. Dian then joined Uber as the Head of Communications, leading efforts to enhance Uber's reputation and brand love.
In 2020, Dian joined the Kementerian Badan Usaha Milik Negara Republik Indonesia, serving as a Communications Expert Staff to the Minister and later as the Head of Committee for State Owned Enterprises' Support to Sports. Dian also joined Perum BULOG as a Board Member and the Head of Nomination and Remuneration Committee.
Additionally, Dian played a significant role in the COVID-19 Response & National Economic Recovery Committee as the Chief of Public Communications PMO.
Throughout their career, Dian has demonstrated strong leadership, expertise in communications, and the ability to drive business growth and enhance brand reputation.
Dian Safitri holds a Bachelor of Laws degree in Business Law from Universitas Airlangga, completed from 1995 to 2000. In 2002, they obtained a Postgraduate Diploma in Corporate Communications and Public Relations from LSPR Communication and Business Institute. Dian also completed an executive education program, Uber - HBX Live, in Strategy and Leadership at Harvard Business School Online in 2017. Currently, they are pursuing a Fellow degree in Organizational Leadership at MIT Sloan School of Management, which will be completed from 2022 to 2023. In addition, they obtained certification in "Become a Chief of Staff with Brian Rumao" from LinkedIn in 2019.
