Erica Lakey has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Erica started their career in 2007 as a Construction Administrator at McFarland Davies Architects, where they established the construction administration department and managed project submittals and closeout documentation. From 2008 to 2013, Erica worked at SGA Design Group as a Team Administrator, responsible for managing travel arrangements for employees and providing administrative support to a project team. Erica then joined Jim Butler Construction as a Project Administrator from 2013 to 2014.

In 2014, Erica joined Ross Engineering as an Engineering Administrator, where they coordinated a team and reviewed construction drawing information for accuracy. Erica also arranged travel for the VP of Engineering. From 2017 to 2017, they worked as a Sales Coordinator at Willbros Tank Services. Following that, they joined Alliance Tank Service in 2018 as a Proposal Compliance Manager, responsible for managing Requests for Proposals and State Licensing.

From 2019 to 2022, Erica worked at Shipt as a Personal Shopper, where they established and maintained rapport with store personnel and clients. Erica demonstrated superior time management skills by completing shopping and delivering orders within a small delivery window. Currently, Erica is a Project Manager Assistant at Nabholz Corporation, starting in 2022.

Erica Lakey completed their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Psychology from Langston University, where they attended between 1996 and 2001. Erica then went on to pursue a Master of Education (M.Ed.) in Psychology at Northeastern State University from 2001 to 2004.
